WAIT!! CHECK OUT THIS BLOG ON THE DEBUNKING OF INTEL PROCESSOR SERIES BEFORE BUYING A NEW LAPTOP

Nowadays when ultra-books are getting popular once again, it would not be much silly to ask if your old Intel processor choice is still good.

As the Intel recently rolled out their i9 processor series, some of us are still in doubt whether to go for i5 or i7?

But most of us forget one really small detail.
Which is, whether you should go for i7-Y Series or with i7-U Series?

But why do these Y or U series even matter.

In simple words, these series are for work-specific performance.

After the test I did on 2 Ultrabooks having everything else same but the processor.

One of them had Intel Core i7-7500U and the other had Intel Core i7-7Y75 (Notice the different U and Y in them...)

The former worked a bit slow and did heat quite a bit but it is to say that it's Integrated Graphic Performance was better than I expected.

The other one did work a bit fast but was not at par when it came to Integrated graphics capability. Although it did not had the best graphics that I have ever seen, but it surely heated less than it's U-Counterpart.

My recommendation?

If you are a budget gamer and want to play games with the Intel Integrated graphics, you should go with Intel Core i7 U-Series.

Though you should bare in mind that I just don't really recommend using these Integrated graphics as they are simply SHIT.

But if you care about performance and want smooth and fluid curves in your basic work, I would recommend going with the Y-SERIES as it can handle basic stuff pretty well.

So guys this was all I had to tell you all today.
